Meet the team. We would love to have you join us!

Founded in 1993, Cyrano's Place has been dedicated to
promoting personal excellence thru fencing and fitness in the local community.
We are a three-weapon club: Foil, Epee and Saber.
At Cyrano's Place we strive to provide a safe, welcoming, fun, and inclusive environment
for all athletes to learn, grow, and excel. We strive to instill the values of respect, teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance. And to help develop the skills people need to succeed both on and off the fencing strip.
Check out our YouTube channel (Cyrano's Place) with educational videos that supplement our coaching, some humor, interviews with Olympians and other knowledgeable people in the sport. Links to specific videos can be found on our video link page.
Ask us about demos for special groups such as work parties or scouting groups or birthdays!

We offer fencing instruction for students ages 6 thru adults.
Our 6 class Beginner series teach fencing fundamentals skills and tactics. The sixth class invites beginners to join the advance class to give them a chance to confirm they want to continue to learn fencing.
Our advanced classes help hone students' skills for competition and fitness.
Beginner series is six classes.
Regular membership includes unlimited classes per month.
Private instruction is available by appointment.
Please see 'Classes and Contact' page for more details.

Age is but a number.
Fencing is for anyone looking for a fun challenge.
If you can walk, you can fence.
And, if you can't walk, you can do wheelchair fencing.
So, Yes, it's for everyone!
Fencing is a parable for Life:
There is always someone out to get you. It's a matter of wisdom to know whether you should be more offensively or defensively dealing with them.
Fencing is considered one of the SAFEST Olympic sports according to the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA).
Fencing is gymnastics meets chess.
